Is There A Way To Cancel Or Change My Free Web Hosting Given To Me In Godaddy?

I had recently chosen the Windows web server when I wanted to set it up. But later on, I wanted to change it to LINUX web server. I had not yet set up the Windows web server. Is there a way for me to change it to LINUX web server? This is a free web host given to me during my registration in godaddy.com. Thanks.

  1. They can change it for you if you ask tech support… but there is a much better solution…
    1) Get free hosting without the annoying advertisements.
    2) Point the DNS servers of your GoDaddy domain name to the servers on your new free host.
Seriously. Free as in no money. And free as in no ads. I’ve been down the GoDaddy route and still use them for domain names, so I know exactly where you’re at right now.
    Check out this link….http://HesitantRhino.com/free-web-hostin…

  2. Good choice on using linux over windows(server wise), you should contact godaddy.com
